"Our Chardonnays are known for their rich flavors, firm acidity and brilliant varietal flavors. But it is the pronounced minerality that sets them apart from their peers throughout the Golden State. To retain the essence of the soil, we use a number of low-input winemaking techniques including: partial native yeast fermentations, regular lees stirring, malolactic fermentation, and minimal processing. Our 2007 "Chualar Loam" Chardonnay is rich, dense, firm and creamy with exotic aromas of citrus, melon, kiwi and flower blossoms." - Ivan Giotenov, Winemaker
